This international pop/rock star has consistently and powerfully made his mark on the music industry for over 20 years, not only as a singer and guitar player, but as well as a song author and producer to many worldwide known artists like Barbra Streisand, Sarah Brightman, Leann Rimes, Natalie Cole, Keith Urban, Kenny Loggins, and actor Hugh Jackman.
Marx began his career in music at the age of 5, singing commercial jingles written by his father, who was a jazz musician. After Lionel Richie heard a tape of his songs and predicted him a great success, Marx’s was destined to succeed. Besides Lionel, he recorded backing vocals for artists such as Madonna and Whitney Houston. Soon after that, he released his self-titled debut album that went on to sell 3 million copies and became the first male solo artist in history to have his first 7 singles reach the top 5 on Billboard’s singles chart.
Having sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, Richard definitely signed his name into the history of music. Also, it is fascinating that, as of 2009, he wrote thirteen #1 songs.
The Belgrade concert is a part of his European tour on which Marx performs acoustic versions of hit songs that feature his latest album "Stories to Tell", and new studio recordings of songs Richard has written with or for other artists.
